but *what* is that sound?
i'd say those are bug sounds...
tony says they are cicadas. they are DEAFENING. [those aren't planes...]

yay! nice deck!
cicadas can be awfully loud. it really shocked me when i moved back down here after living in buffalo. crickets, too, are loud. but neither bite!
all the same... i'm terrified of my backyard. after 4pm. it sounds like a horror film.
i think you will come to love that sound. i'm longing for it now.
hmn. i don't know.
